Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has expressed its gratitude to Savi Liegise for having excellently led the apex tribal institution for a period of 8 years, from 2005-2013.
In a release, T. Bangerloba, vice president NCD along with five other executives, stated that the achievements of Savi Liegise were many, but his leadership was most notable in the area of harmony and friendship.
The release attributed some of Savi’s contributions for the citizens such as bringing together all different communities including non Nagas to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of Naga Council in 2009; his vocal fight against anti-social activities such as, extortion, rape, murder, taxation and kidnapping plaguing Dimapur; against anti-social activities such as, extortion, rape, murder, taxation and kidnapping plaguing Dimapur etc, to name a few. Naga Council family further wished him the best in his future endeavor.
