MGM higher secondary school (MGMHSS), Dimapur teacher Biswajit Paul was awarded NDTV Pearson Award with the Certificate of Excellence in School Teaching by Anil Kumble, the brand ambassador of Pearson Teaching Awards in the presence of Union Minister Sashi Tharoor and MP Rajya Sabha Shabana Azmi in New Delhi January 22.
In a press release, MGMHSS principal Fr.P.S.Varghese stated that for the first time ever in the history of Indian education, NDTV provided a platform to honour the true heroes of classrooms.
The release stated 75 very best teachers from across the country were awarded with Pearson Teaching awards for excellence in school teaching and certificates of excellence in school teaching.
