ATMA Kiphire on January 26 organized an exhibition cum mela, the departmental stalls put by agri and allied departments were inaugurated by parliamentary secretary for tourism, justice and law, Yitachu. Yitachu interacted with ATMA functionaries on the prospect of developing better opportunities for the farmers through technologies and proper marketing channels.
Some items displayed during the exhibition cum mela were winter vegetables, spices, pulses, horticultural crops, dry fruits, fresh fishes etc., farmers and beneficiaries were also awarded with cash prize according to the commodities exhibited by them.
Farmers and beneficiaries from different blocks under Kiphire district along with some SHGs participated in the exhibition cum mela.
