With a view to provide a platform and to encourage the SHGs and CIG’s, a one-day training and demonstration was conducted by Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Dhansiripar Block, Dimapur on January 30 at FIAC office, Dhansiripar.
The resource person Sentinaro, fishery inspector and BTT member spoke on ‘preparation of fish pickle’ where she explained and demonstrated the preparation of fish pickle which is a low investment small scale business, as it does not require any costly equipment.
She also spoke about maintenance of strict hygiene and sanitary conditions during preparation so as to retain the quality of the product for a longer period.
Demonstrating on ‘preparation of dish washing gel’, Naro Longchar, block technology manager, Dhansiripar block also encouraged the SHGs and CIGs to take up such activities as it is easy to prepare and does not require much financial investment. Altogether, 40 participants attended the training and demonstration programme.
