One of the Military Engineering Service (MES) contractors, Rajnath Singh, a Class ‘A’ contractor who has been accused involvement in Military Engineering Service (MES) recruitment malpractice Saturday refuted all allegations made against him.
Speaking to Nagaland Post, Rajnath Singh asserted that he was “innocent” and termed the allegation against him as “unfounded and biased.”
He explained that he was executing contract works in the department and did not have any other role to play in the recruitments.
Hailing from Bihar and currently a resident of Rangapahar, Dimapur, Rajnath also said that he has been doing the contract works for more than 27 years in the state since 1987.
It may be mentioned that Rajnath Singh and a supplier M/s. Mamoni Enterprises have been accused by two candidates who appeared for jobs through Military Engineering Service (MES) examination held on December 2, 2012 of involving in the recruitment.
The two candidates alleged that the supplier and the contractor had facilitated the selection of 31 candidates.
