Naga Mothers’ Association condemns Kma shooting incident

Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) has strongly condemned the act of shooting at a young girl at Naga Bazar Colony on March 1 by unidentified gunmen.

In a statement, NMA secretary Lochumbeni Humtsoe said such “senseless and ruthless act” targeting on an innocent girl has no place in Naga society and could not be accepted by the Naga mothers.

Questioning the “right and authority” of the gunmen in shooting at the girl, NMA urged all to value human lives.

The association has appealed the law enforcing agencies to keep vigil in and around the capital so that such incidents do not occur again besides demanding the arrest the culprits.
