Naga People’s Front (NPF) party of 5 Ghaspani-II assembly constituency has expressed dismay over the non-allocation of a ministerial berth to any of the two NPF elected members from Dimapur and termed it discriminatory.
In a press release, legal advisor Seyie-u Keyho and Keviyani Thepa, political advisor to parliamentary secretary urban development Zhaleo Rio, who won 5 Ghaspani-II A/C seat on an NPF ticket, said Dimapur district, in particular Ghaspani -II A/C, had been neglected in terms of developmental activities for decades.
They pointed out that Dimapur being the commercial hub of Nagaland, DAN government should have at least inducted a legislator from the district in the cabinet.
