Parents of aggrieved employees of medical department Kiphire have appealed to the principal director of health and family welfare (H&FW) to apply the same yard stick on the employees.
A press release issued by Rothrong Sangtam, T.S Sangtam Kiphire town stated that there were many new appointments after 2007-08 but only 151 of them were “discriminated” while the rest appointed through the same procedure were enjoying their salaries without any “hindrance/ instigation”.
The signatories further informed that against 12 employees of Tuensang district who were apprehended at police station Kohima for bribing the accounts officer and suspected to be “bogus” were released on bail and subsequently, the issue of employees were put under investigation and their salary withheld.
The signatories also said investigation would be “waste of energy and money” as in the case of education department, adding, “We all are under the same state, same government” and reminded “injustice, favoritism, discrimination” were the root causes of all anti-social elements in the Naga society.
