Jalukie Police seized 15, 465 of restricted drugs and 456 bottles of IMFL on different occasion during the month of February and March.
Eight person have been arrested in this connection. All the seizures were made from Mhainantsi police check gate.
On Tuesday morning, police personnel manning Mhainantsi police check gate arrested two person identified as Joel Kiba of VK Town under Zunheboto district and Gaithanglu of New Jalukie village with 7500 capsules of SP and 200 tablets of Nitro from their possession.
On March 18, around 36 bottles of IMFL were seized. However, the identity of the accused could not be ascertained.
Earlier, on March 12, four person which include two female, identified as Samzai of Kejanglwa village, Rebecca, a resident of Midland colony, Jalukie town, Halato Zeliang a resident of Samuiran village and Kevito Sema of 3rd Mile Dimapur were arrested with 420 bottles of assorted IMFL.
Further, one Khamlin Kuki, a resident of Ahthibung town was arrested on February 22 with 7565 capsules of SP and 200 capsules of Nitro.
All the eight accused have been forwarded to court under relevant section of law, OC of Jalukie Police station, Mmhao Ngullie informed.
