Yitachu said V&AH was a department of professionals with expertise and knowledge from whom people can be benefited.
He said that the public including himself who were from non- Veterinary background would be nowhere without the help of the department.

Even though Nagaland is a small state compared to other states in terms of population and size, the state must take up activities for development, he said, and added, spending huge amount of money outside the state especially on dairy meat consumption only depicted the department’s failure. He therefore called upon the gathering to work harder to achieve positive long-term results.
He appealed to the beneficiaries under different schemes to give their genuine and sincere services and assured them that the department will provide necessary inputs for the growth of veterinary activities in the state and at the same time urged the department officials of the district and directorate level to not only supplying products to the citizens but also teaching them how to produce more products.
