NSCN (K) has authorized ‘lt. gen.’ Nikki, ‘military supervisor’ of Western Nagaland, Naga Army to collect all district level taxes for Dimapur district and taxes specified under centre list for Zunheboto district for the fiscal year 2013-2014.
In a statement, NSCN MIP said NSCN/GPRN president S.S. Khaplang has “entrusted and empowered” Nikki to exercise financial administration from the release of this “azah” and submit quarterly report. The “azah” came into immediate effect from March 18, 2013.
MIP clarifies: Meanwhile, MIP has also clarified that recent “change of guard” of chaplee ministry was necessitated in exercise of the “presidential prerogative” by its president S.S.Khaplang and it was only a reshuffle of portfolio whereby Zaremo was allocated the chaplee kilonser.
MIP further stated that outgoing chaplee kilonser Hukato Vusshe would be allocated another portfolio “very shortly.”
