‘National Science Day’ under the theme ‘Genetically modified crops and food security’ was observed on April 5 at Holy Crooss school Dimapur. The day was observed by holding a painting competition among the school children.
Poulami Ghosh, class 8 from PVHSS, Heka class 9 of CHSS, and Shourmista Roy class 8 from SPHSS, Sourab Deb of PVHSS was declared first, second and third respectively.
The winners were awarded with cash prizes, certificates and consolations prizes to all the participants.
National Science Day was organized by district education officer (DEO) Dimapur and sponsored by the department of science and technology, Kohima, Nagaland.
