The 25th biennial general conference of Angami Students’ Union (ASU) to be hosted by Khuzama village from April 19-21 is expected to be attended by over 1500 delegates from the four regional units – Northern (NASU), Southern (SASU), Western (WASU) and Chakhroma (CSU).
In this connection, the organizing committee has informed all respective ranges on the conference etiquettes. They are as follows – Delegates should reach the venue by 2 p.m on April 19 with two of their respective unit flags; all the incumbent officials of the regional, subordinate and village units should be in formal while attending the inaugural and valedictory sessions and business hours; traditional attire or ethnic wear prescribed by Angamimiapfü Mechü Krotho (AMK) has been recommended for the devotional service.The three day conference would be marked by various competitions like sports and literature.
In sports, Naga style wrestling will be held while competition in debate and extempore speech will be held in literature section. The topic for the debate competition will be “The present educational system provides prospective career opportunities both in government and private sectors”.
All units have been asked to submit names of two participants each for all the categories of competition.
