Training for weekly Iron Folic Supplementation Programme (IFSP) for Wokha district was conducted from April 24 to May 10 for all categories of implementing departments i.e. M.O, BEO, CDPO, BAC’s, ANM’s, AWW supervisors and nodal teachers.
Department officials such as CMO, MO (school health programme) block ASHA co-ordinators, district community mobilizer NRHM, computer assistants co-ordinated during the training programme on WIFS.
Dy. CMO and DPO (RCH-UIP) monitored the training as resource persons. Nodal teachers were also mobilised to ensure direct observation and supervised consumption of WIFS tablets to school children.
