Mima Students Union (MSU) observed its 25 annual freshets’ meet on June 8 at GMS Mima under the theme ‘Beyond’ with 1st class contractor, Vilelie Khamo as the chief guest and lecturer DIET Agnes Seyie Tepa as the speaker.
Exhorting the students, the chief guest urged the students to be bold and choose the right career. Khamo also acknowledged the distinction holders of the recently declared HSLC exam with a cash prize.
Speaker, Agnes in her address, challenged the students to choose career according to ones insight enthusiasm and not only by external influences. She also stressed on how to look beyond and going beyond.
Earlier, the chief guest also inaugurated a library hall while the speaker launched the union’s website.
Village chairman, GBs, senior leaders, church members, dignitaries and well wishers attended the function.
Meanwhile, MSU has thanked all the participants for their support and making the programme a success.
