Fishery farm school inaugurated

ATMA Wokha block opened a fishery farm school at Humtsoe village on June 19 which was officially launched by Tsenyimo Humtsoe, convener, BTT, Wokha block.

Altogether, ten students and farmers teacher were selected for manning the farm school. During the programme, farmers were enlightened about the concept of farm school role and responsibilities.

Mhomo Murry, fishery inspector, Wokha, who was the resource person, took the technical session and emphasized basing on the topic “training on culturable fish species” with respect to the local environment.

He explained in brief on how to grow and produce more fish and also to detect and protect the fish from diseases.

The programme was chaired by Bethunglo Murry, SMS, while vote of thanks was proposed by Myanbemo Humtsoe.
