Seminar on legal rights of women was conducted August 15 by Mon District Legal Services Authority (MDLSA) at Mission Centre, Mon with MDLSA member secretary Nino Iralu and MDLSA penal lawyer Manon Konyak as main resource persons.
At the seminar, the resource persons spoke on the topics ‘consumer rights’ and ‘rights against domestic violence’.
More than 100 women attended the seminar. Meanwhile, MDSLA also conducted essay competition on national integration with girl guides of Mon district August 14 at Holy Cross School, Mon. 32 girl guides took part in the competition.
Kongan, daughter of Wangjo and Ponglih, daughter of Thonlong emerged winner and runner-up respectively. MDLSA member secretary Nino Iralu gave away the prizes and also imparted lesson in law for students, consumer rights and constitutional rights/duties.
