Peren students’ union (PSU), Nagaland August 17 and 18 conducted its 54th general session cum election at New Peren, hosted by New Peren village council on the theme “Grow Enthusiastic” with Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) power Er. Tsiamchi Ndang as chief guest.
In his address, the chief guest called upon the students to broaden their concept and adopt with the fast competitive world.
He also urged the students to give outmost attention in their own respective field of studies and quality of education. Ndang also called upon the student community to preserve and sticks to their own identity.
The new team of Peren students union would headed by Mireulung Sephe as its president, Heigum Herie General Secretary, Paukuleu Ndang as finance secretary. House also elected Haichenbeu Ndang as the assembly speaker.
Meanwhile, PSU has thanked New Peren council chairman Namnabi Hegui for making the session successful.
