Two-day annual session of Nagaland Baptist Church youth department concluded September 28 at Shalom Bible Seminary, Sechu-Zubza on the theme, ‘Identity in Christ’ and hosted by Angami Baptist Church Council.
182 official delegates from different associations under NBCC attended the session. The speakers were Alongla Aier, Associate Professor Oriental Theological Seminary, Bade, Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, president Kohima Baptist Pastors Fellowship and Achu Chang, pastor, Naga Christian Fellowship, Pune.
The speakers spoke on topics like “Identity in Christ,” “Identity and youth culture” and “Issues young people face today.”
Rev. Dr. L. Anjo Keikung, general secretary of NBCC exhorted the gathering of young leaders from different parts of the state. Talichila, YouthNet, Nagaland conducted a workshop on “professionalism.”
Rumatho Nyusou, Academic Dean, Shalom Bible Seminary conducted a Bible study while Shalom Bible Seminary students led the praise and worship.
On the second night, various artists like Divine Connection, Ayim Longchar, Powerfaith and bands from Shalom Bible Seminary performed at the concert.
Meanwhile, Vikuo Rhi youth secretary of NBCC expressed gratitude to all the delegates, participants and especially to ABCC and Shalom Bible Seminary.
