SPARK 3.0, the closing ceremony of the annual technical fest ‘Tecnoesis’ of NIT Silchar was held on October 7 at NIT Silchar campus.
‘Purple Fusion’ – a four piece fusion band from Nagaland, enthralled the audience with their original Naga fusion numbers, as well as a few Bollywood song covers.
Vocalist Lamtsala, with her mesmerizing and powerful voice, won the hearts of all the students from her first song itself.
Imsanger’s guitar riffs became the cornerstone, while Mhathung’s bass grooves and Temsu’s beats made everyone lost in the beauty of their music.
Overall it was an epic evening with Naga fusion songs and Bollywood music in the form of Jazz and Blues, as the audience enjoyed their unique music.
“‘Purple Fusion’ is definitely promoting the rich tradition and culture of Nagaland through their music.
They have won the hearts of the future engineers and has created quite a rave among them,” stated Doley Dhanraj (Music Club, NIT Silchar).
