Due to damage of 132kV transmission near Chiechama, power supply to Wokha, Tseminyu and Pughoboto would be disrupted on November 2 from 5 a.m. for restoration works.
In a press release, E.E transmission division (Kohima) further informed that there would be continuous power shutdown from November 2 to 4 till power supply is restored.
EE said the department has taken up restoration work on war footing and urged the public for cooperation.
