CM Chang: Lok Sabha MP and minister for school education C.M. Chang has expressed grief over the death of Azu Newmai, former MLA from Tenning under Peren district, who passed away at Kohima November 26.
In his condolence message, C.M Chang described the Azu Newmai as “a prominent personality”, and said in his demise the people of Peren district have lost a leader of stature and his absence would be felt in the times to come.
C.M. Chang conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
Benreului Baudi Nagaland: Expressing shock and grief at the demise of ZPO president N.Azu Newmai, Benreului Baudi Nagaland said he had been a man of principle, standing firm for the truth, always fulfilling his responsibility as a true leader of the community.
“In his passing away, we have lost a leader who always led from the front for justice and the truth…” said Benreului Baudi president Heirang Lungalang in a condolence message. Benreului Baudi prayed that Almighty God grant strength to all his family members to bear the irreparable loss.
