ESSU 37th general conference

Eastern Sumi Students’ Union (ESSU) will hold its 37th general conference from January 10 to 12 to be hosted by Luthshumi Students’ Union (LSU) on the theme “Cohesive, Incisive, Progressive” with parliamentary secretary, sericulture, cooperation and women development, Pukhayi Assumi, and MD, Naga Construction, Dimapur, Hukiye N. Tissica, as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
The theme speaker for the conference would be IGP Viccashe Sumi, while the cultural speaker would be district soil conservation officer and project director, ATMA, Zunheboto, Zhekheto Awomi.
Security and defence banking officer, SBI Zonal Officer, Jorhat, Major Kohito Achumi, will deliberate on career guidance.
During the conference, the union would also award meritorious students and NPSC successful candidates.
