Naga social entrepreneurs felicitated by IIM-Lucknow

Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, one of India’s premier management institutes has felicitated selected social entrepreneurs from around the country, who have made useful contributions to society.            
Dr. Yan Murry, CEO and secretary of Society for Education, Empowerment & Development (SEED) and Pinnacle Skills was among the nine social entrepreneurs selected as a ‘Prerak Fellow’.
Organized by the Centre for Business sustainability, IIM-Lucknow as part of the Annual Manfest Business Conclave, the selected social entrepreneurs have to undergo Prerna fellowship programme at the institute after which they were accorded ‘Prerak Fellow’.
Dr. Yan has been working in the field of skill development and education which has provided gainful employment to many youths.
His other notable achievements are initiatives in web based technology interventions for which he has won many national level awards including the National Tourism Award 2011.
While congratulating Dr. Yan, chairman of SEED, Dr. John Murry encouraged him and other young members of the organization to put sincere efforts and make a difference.
