ATMA activities at Wozhuro block

ATMA Wokha (Wozhuro/Ralan block) has established a piggery farm school at Shaki village on January 29. Altogether seventeen farmers were enrolled with Salo Ngullie as the achiever farmer. The farmers training on “cultivation practices of some important coarse grains and fish pond management” were also conducted at community hall, Wozhuro on January 29 with resource persons Chichanbeni Yanthan, AFA (agriculture department, Wokha) and Mhomo Murry, fishery inspector (fishery department, Wokha). Farmers were trained on cultivation practices of some important coarse grains, which were suitable in Wozhuro area like jobstear, millet and jowar and fish pond management. Altogether 31 farmers from Wozhuro block attended the training programme.
