Pinnacle Skills – the skill development division of the society for education, empowerment and development inaugurated its training centre in Wokha on Saturday with Sub-Divisional Education Officer Wokha Aremo Ezung as chief guest.
Addressing the inaugural function Ezung while thanking Pinnacle Skills for starting their training centre in Wokha encouraged the youths to work hard with perseverance.
Guest of honour, Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Wokha Likhaba Sangtam encouraged the students to take up jobs in privates sector and making a long term career in multinational companies rather than looking for government jobs only, in a society where the number of educated unemployed youths are increasing day by day.
Centre Manager Eranbeni Erui delivered the welcome address. Project Coordinator, Pinnacle Skills Michael Sangtam introduced the training programs which will be conducted in the centre. Trainer, Hospitality management Gloria Shitiri extended the vote of thanks. A large number of students and well wishers attended the function.
The training centre in Wokha will conduct courses in Hospitality, ITeS and Agriculture Entrepreneurship sponsored by the Ministry of Minority Affairs and State Urban Development Agency. It may be mentioned that Pinnacle Skills has training centres in Dimapur, Kohima and an upcoming centre in Ghaziabad, Delhi NCR.
SDO & ERO Phek informs: Sub-Divisional Officer (C) and Electoral Registration Officer, Phek Athrila S has notified that the list of amendment to the draft roll for the 16-Pfutsero, 17-Chizami, 18-Chazouba, 19-Phek and 20-Meluri assembly constituencies have been prepared with reference to January 1 as the qualifying date and in accordance with the registration of electors Rules, 1960. A copy of the said E/roll together with the said list of amendments has been published and will be available for inspection at the office of the SDO (C) during office hours.
