Veterinary and animal husbandry (V&AH) has informed all livestock and poultry farmers in the state to get their pigs, cattle, sheep and goats, mithun and poultry birds vaccinated against economically important diseases like swine fever, foot and mouth disease, haemorrhagic septicemia, black quarter, enterotoxaemia, ranikhet disease and fowl pox from their nearest veterinary hospital/dispensaries/veterinaries health centre. In a press release, V&AH additional director Dr. M. Timothy Lotha informed that officer in charge of veterinary hospitals, dispensaries, veterinary health centres, livestock and poultry farm managers to get the vaccine stock ready for the service of livestock and poultry farmers without fail.
