Nagaland Foot Hills Road Construction Committee (NFHRCC) has cautioned that no tribe, hohos and group/individuals would be allowed to derail the historic foot-hill road construction project. Reaffirming the July 23 resolution not to allow politicizing of the project, NFHRCC convener Supu Jamir and co-convener Hokiye Yepthomi told Nagaland Post that it was also made very clear that no tribe, hoho and group/individuals would be allowed to alter or modify the work orders which have already being issued to the respective contractors. NFHRCC warned that “any unwanted elements trying to jeopardize or derail the project would not be tolerated,” adding, that the project which was “initiated after a gap of 40 years by ten Naga tribes would maintain zero tolerance”.
