Special operation team (SOT) of DEF Mokokchung, while conducting routine checking and frisking near Longmisa village junction March 13 at around 2 a.m. hours, detected five cases of MC Rum and arrested one person.
In a press release, superintendent of police, Mokokchung stated that the IMFL was seized from the possession of one Taku Jamir (50), son of Maong of Chuchuyimlang village, presently residing at Alongmen ward Mokokchung. Accordingly a NON FIR case vide Mokokchung Police Station I NON FIR Case No. 0002/2014 U/S 44 NLTP Act was registered and accused forwarded to the court.
