The department of sericulture, Mokokchung conducted “Muga Krishi Vigyan Mela” on
March 28 at Cosmos Hall, Mokokchung town, organised by Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles government of India, Guwahati.
In a press release, district sericulture officer (DSO) Alemkumzuk stated that the programme was inaugurated sericulture joint director Demo as chief guest.
The various aspects on Sericulture farming technology were delivered by Dr.B.K.Singh, Scientist-D, Guwahati, and DSO Mokokchung Alemkumzuk.
Around 380 farmers from within the district attended the programme. Thanksgiving speech was delivered by Sericulture deputy director Anungla Alinger.
