SARS organizes exposure tour to Assam, M’laya

State agricultural research station (SARS) organized exposure tour for SARS Malis to Shillong and AAU Jorhat from May 5 to 10, which was sponsored by Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Mokokchung.
The team visited places and fields like department of agriculture, directorate of horticulture Shillong and government fruit orchard, government vegetables and flower garden, Bio-lab, Central potato research station, Meghalaya Agricultural Management & Extension. Training Institute, ICAR Umiam, AAU Jorhat Assam, Shillong peak, Elephant fall and Cherrapunjee.
Meanwhile, members of exposure team, who were accompanied by officials of department, have expressed gratitude to the director of agriculture, joint director ATMA, PD (ATMA) Mokokchung for providing financial assistance and to project officer SARS for taking the initiative for the exposure.
