Kohima Police have arrested two persons along with 230 kh contraband ganja at Peducha May 19 last.
According to Kohima police PRO, the consignment, which consisted of 23 packets of ganja each weighing 10 kg (230 kg), was detected and seized from a Bolero (NL 07-7484) at Peducha. The two arrested have been identified as one M. Mahung (45), son of late M. Ningchim of Hungdung village, Ukhrul, Manipur and Y.S. Ningreishang (25), son of Y.S. Wonmi of Teinem village, Somdal, Manipur.
A case has been registered with Sechu Zubza PS and investigation is on, PRO stated.
