Mission of Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) programme for people with disability conducted devotional service June 1 at Merayim Baptist church (MBC) along with managing director cum advisor MDPAPWD Imchawati Kichu, CBR worker of care and support society Imkongnungchet, Mokokchung District Parents Association for People with Disabled (MDPAPWD), PWD, CWD.
During the service, CBR worker of care and support society Mar Namo delivered short speech. PWDs visually impaired Akangmongba and Temjen Locomotor presented special songs, Katibenla recited poem and special number. Managing director (MD) Imchawati Kichu delivered word of God basing on the theme “Feed my Lambs” John 21:15.
After the service, short meeting was held with the congregation. MDPAPWD president encouraged parents to come forward, support the PWD/CWD and join the association.
MD also shared about PWDs ACT 1995 focus on the rights of PWDs.
Meanwhile, MBC has expressed gratitude to the visitors for enlightening the congregation through songs and word of God.
