MLA S. Pangnyu Phom has greeted the Phom community on the occasion of Phom Day, also known as Peace Day. In a message, Pangnyu said Phom Day was a very significant day in the history of Phom people when the people pledged to end “headhunting and bloodshed” and vowed to live together in peace and harmony. He expressed the hope that as the Phom community celebrates its 62nd Phom Day, they would continue to be an epitome of peace and work for brotherhood of all mankind.
