A joint team of 17 Assam Rifles and 142 CRPF Bn apprehended one NNC cadre and seized a hand grenade from his possession on June 6. The cadre has been identified as “SS Pvt” Mhonthung Kikon (36).
The arrested cadre alongwith recovery was handed over to the Bhandari police station.
