The National Level Monitor team leader, William Norman, has visited Yorüba village under Sekrezu RD Block in Phek district on June 25 accompanied by project Director DRDA Phek, Thunjamo Khuvung, JE DRDA Er. Ghoshito, SDO PHE Chozuba, Er. Thuvokhwuyi, BDO Sekruzu Medonuo, APO Zasheruh, and VDB Union president Pushovoyi.
During the visit to the village, NLM team leader, W Norman, had interacted with the village functionaries and job card holders and checked the record keeping books of MGNREGS, IAY, NSAP, WATSAN etc,. The dignitaries also visited various ground works implemented under NGREGS, EPA, IAY.
While interacting with the villagers, W Norman has emphasized on the need to utilize the funds released from the ministry with transparency and be more careful in record keeping. He has assured to constantly endeavour to help and support the villagers in all possible ways. The village council chairman Vesolhü and VDB Secretary Sekhoyi Nyekha, while acknowledging the good will visit, have expressed gratitude to the NLM team and prayed the NLM Team to visit the village in the near future for the betterment of local populace.
