Kohima police intercepted a vehicle (Santro) bearing Registration No. MN04A-3080 on June 26, near SKV Petrol Pump, and recovered approximately 25000 capsules of banned Spasmo Proxivon which was concealed inside a compartment of the vehicle.
Police has arrested three person namely Zakir Hussain @ Akthar (33 yrs), son of Md. Ali of Phailen village in Churachanpur, Manipur, and presently a resident of Khermahal, Dimapur; Md. Ramijuddin (30 yrs), son of Md. Zamaluddin of Lilong Haoreibi Mayai Leikai village in Thoubal, Manipur, and Nityanan Singh (43 yrs), son of late Devnandan Singh of Gadaichak village in Bihar. A case in this connection has been registered at North Police Station under Drugs and Cosmetics Acts for investigation.
