PFPS resolves on ENPO’s ‘one govt., one tax’ resolution

Public Forum Pungro Sub-Division (PFPS) organized Village leader’s coordination meeting July 16, at G.A rest house Pungro HQ.  In the meeting house discussed the present situation in Pungro Sub- Division and after thorough deliberation house resolved to stand firm on ENPO resolution No. 3 (Vii) ‘one govt. one tax’ and urged the council to cooperate for meaningful implementation.  The house also urged upon the responsible department to drop the materials issuing under BRGF/MGNREGA for both Pungro and Khongsa blocks at Pungro HQ. Meanwhile, village leaders appealed to the state government for the early release of Hindi Teacher’s salary to resume the classes. NERC booklet in Yimchunger dialect and ENPO resolution was dispatched to the villagers. Altogether, 261 members from 45 Villages attended the meeting.
