NPCC appeals Assam Chief Minister

August 21, 2014 | by admin

Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has appealed to Assam chief minister to rein in different organisations who have repeatedly “hijacked the writ of the state by resorting to total blockade on entire state of Nagaland even on the slightest of provocation in some disputed border areas”. In a statement, NPCC media cell said Assam government must remember that “localizing the conflict areas will be a better alternative in containing the situation and restoring normalcy rather than let the situation be dictated by various civil organizations to impose total blockade against Nagaland every time to aggravate the conflict of a particular locality into a larger scale thereby holding the entire people of the state to ransom”.
