Decomposed body recovered

Dimapur police Monday at around 4 p.m. recovered a highly decomposed body of an unidentified non-local male believed to be in his late 20s at 6th Mile, Dimapur, near a petrol pump.
According to SDPO, Dimapur, Relo T. Aye, the police received information from the workers of the petrol pump about the body lying underneath the sand near the oil tank and a hand protruding.
SDPO also the victim was suspected to have been strangulated as the victims’ hands and legs were tied. He was wearing a vest, black velvet pant and a black belt. The body has been kept at the District Hospital Morgue (DHD) for identification.
