Reku Farmers’ Club in Nkwareu village has organized a cleanliness drive to show solidarity towards Swachh Bharat Mission on October 2 under the aegis of Development Association Nagaland (DAN) Farm Northeast Project. The programme was participated by council leaders, leaders of the Reku Farmers’ Club Nkwareu and John Panmei, animator DAN. The cleanliness drive covered within the village by cleaning roadsides, waiting shed and council hall etc. Chunjanglung, Assistant Coordinator, in his address to the gathering urged to live in clean environment and good sanitation for sound mind and body. He reiterated the old adage ‘Cleanliness is next to godliness.’
