Ten American Baptist International Ministries delegates led by Rev Dr. Reid Trulson (executive director, ABIM) accompanied by delegates from BIM and NBCC reached Molungyimsen village on October 7 for ‘Pilgrim Tour to Molungyimsen’.
The Pilgrim Tour team was led by ABAM executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger.
The torchbearer who brought first Christianity to Nagaland, Rev. Dr. E.W Clark was an American missionary from ABIM and he established Molungyimsen village in 1876.
ABIM would be commemorating their 200th anniversary as well as their 175th year of its mission in India.
The distinguished guests participated in the just concluded India Mission Summit at Kohima hosted by NBCC. The team visited Vangkosung (Wokha), Impur and Akhoya village (Mokokchung).
They will be also visiting some important historic spots at Molungyimsen and will leave for Jorhat from there.
