Foresthia band wins gospel beat contest

Foresthia band has won the gospel beat contest by overcoming other eight band organized by the Tent Making Ministry (TMM), Tuensang, in aid of helping poor families at Town Hall, Tuensang. Foresthia band received certificate and cash prize of Rs 15000, while first runners up Divert Reflection and second runners up Police Church DEF, Tuensang, walked away with certificate and Rs 10000 and Rs 7000 respectively.
The president of the ministry, E. Yanghori, in his speech, said the ministry was formed in 2011 with its aim to work and help for the welfare of needy people. The ministry has helped the needy people like patients in the hospital and their families who were unable to afford cost of medicines and their treatment and by helping orphanage home etc.
The gospel beat contest was organized in aid of BPL families, which the ministry is planning to help the poor in the month of Christmas. Other times, the ministry manages through the profit they earn from coffee house and driving school owned by them. The ministry also trains the educated unemployed youth in driving skills to be self dependent and self reliant by making driving as their profession for living instead of taking wrong steps.
The judges of the contest were Taku, JEO Shamator; Adekhing, Youth Director SBCTT; and Throngji, Associate Pastor YBCTT. The programme was hosted by Litsari Sangtam and vote of thanks was delivered by Aru sangtam.
