Nagaland Singing Ambassadors ( NSA), the performance wing of the Nagaland Conservatory of Music, will embark on a tour of Europe starting from 1 to 15 November for a series of concerts covering Brussels-Belgium, Madrid-Spain, and Dublin-Ireland as an Indian representation.
One of the main highlights of the tour will be their participation at the “ 1000 Voices for Peace concert” in Brussels; commemorating 100 years anniversary of the 1st World War, where they will be joined by choirs from all over the world to sing the Oratorio for Peace – a new composition by the great Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki.
NSA is led by the formidable pianist, chamber musician and conductor Noel de la Rosa who will also give lectures and workshops in the concert venues.
It may be mentioned that the tour is sponsored and spearheaded by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Ministry of External Affairs, government of India; to showcase India’s Northeast region’s rich choral music tradition.
