Lamneimoi Chongloi was Sunday night crowned as Miss Kut 2014, a contest held as part of the Kut festival celebration at parade ground of the 1st Manipur Rifles ground here.
The first and second runners-up were Okram Monica and Kathipri Katia respectively. The trio was selected from 23 finalists from across the country.
The winner of the Miss Kut 2014 was given a cash award of Rs one lakh, first runners-up Rs 75,000 and the second runners-up Rs 50,000. Meanwhile, the first, second and third position holders of the cultural programme of post harvest festival of the Chin-Kuki-Mizo group were given Rs 55,000, Rs 45,000 and Rs 35,000 respectively.
