Come festive December this year, the people of Peren district is in for the biggest extravaganza of the year and once in a life time experience with the august presence of a renowned singer and composer Methaneilie and his band from Kohima during a live concert in Jalukie in aid of Jalukie Students’ Union golden jubilee celebration slated for later part of December 2014.
Jalukie valley and Peren district will go musical and reverberate with indigenous tunes and popular songs on the evening of December 16 at Ibaung Thou Memorial School ground from 4 pm onwards.
The Jalukie Students’ Union has appealed to all concerned to come and participate for the cause of the students through the event. Concert tickets would be made available at various places with its central outlet at Mpom Pharmacy, Jalukie.
