Art and culture (A&C) department has informed that it was all set for the Hornbill Festival 2014, daily cultural performance at the main arena, Naga Heritage village, Kisama.
In a press release, A&C department director Vevo Sapuh said cultural troupes from all tribes would be arriving soon to showcase their traditional attires, folk songs and dances.
The artists’ corner at the World War 11 museum premises would display and sale of the art works, demonstrative arts and live-sketching, painting exhibition, art competitions , slide show and talk etc.
It was has also been informed that archive’s stall would showcase a rare collection of original documents from public records, private records, rare historical and geographical maps, news paper clippings and rare books and sale of departmental publications etc. with reading facilities for interested students, scholars and researchers.
