Central Nagaland Tribal Council (CNTC) has conveyed “heartfelt condolences” to the bereaved family members of Late Noklenchiba of Akhoya Village; Late Zungalemla of Mopungchuket Village and Late Purtula of Yaongyimsen Village who were killed in an accident on December 24 near Sub-Urban Police Station Tinali/Lhomithi junction.
In a message, Central Nagaland Tribal Counci president HokiyeYeptho and vice president Khondao Ngullie said the council shared the grief and prayed that the bereaved family members find solace and “in this dark hour” prayed for the early recovery of the other victims who suffered injuries in the accident.
Meanwhile, the tribal council has condemned the act of the driver who drove the vehicle “in a rash and negligent manner under intoxication”.
The council has urged the law enforcing agencies to expedite the investigation and ensure appropriate punishment as per law.
Further, the council acknowledged and extended appreciation to the Ao community and its leaders for maintaining peace.
