Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Kesonyü Yhome, has convened a joint meeting on March 17 at 11 AM in the DC’s office to discuss matters regarding rampantly mining of sand, sand gravel and boulders in Dhansiri River and its tributaries.
The DC has requested the Divisional Forest Officer; Engineer of Irrigation; member secretary of Nagaland Pollution Control Board; president of Naga Council Dimapur; all the sand and sand gravel boulders MO holders; and chairman of Dhansiri River Flood Control Board, Dimapur, to attend the meeting.
