March 24, 2015 | by admin

All Nagaland P.W. D Field Worker’s Association (ANPWDFWA) central office bearers has directed all the divisional office bearers and division representatives of the divisions to be present at a meeting on  March26, 10 a.m. at Nagaland Science centre, behind Saramati hotel, Dimapur to solve the issue pertaining to pending membership fees.
In a press release, ANPWDFWA President, Inakhu Aye and general secretary K. Atovi Awomi said that as per the request made by all unit presidents and general secretaries to the central office bearers of ANPWDFWA, PWD (R&B) and housing at the meeting held on October 2010 for processing their case of service regularization and ROP, the central office bearers filed a suit at Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench.
Accordingly, as per the directive order of Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench common judgement and order dated 05-03-2012, the government of Nagaland has accepted their demands and thereby passed an office memorandum on March 17, 2015.
However, they lamented that the membership fees and legal processing fees for DA/ADA arrears of 2006 and 2009 of some divisions have not reached the central office bearers even though the employees have already made the payment.
The association further cautioned that the central office bearers will be compelled to hold-up the regularization and ROP of the default division/unit through the directives of the concerned advocate.
